Somehow I knew when I got up this morning that today was going to be hot…hot enough for a fire. I just come home (San Marcos, for those not remembering from previous years) and I’m downwind of a plume of smoke. Looks like a 25 acre fire has broken out on Camp Pendleton. There are only bits and pieces in the media so far but the NCTimes (one of the best places for chatting about the fires in previous years within comments of articles) has a quick blurb but I’m sure others will catch up. No updated news yet that I can find
